Marie is a LifeForce: Tao of Medical Qigong practitioner and has success treating pain in children and adults with this modality. She continues to study Traditional Chinese Medicine and Wu Ming Qigong under the guidance of her spiritual teacher and mentor, Grand Master Nan Lu, founding President of Traditional Chinese Medicine World Foundation in NYC.

She is a certified instructor of Dragon’s Way Qigong®, a 6-week wellness program created and taught by Master Lu in New York City. She also has permission to teach his foundational Wu Ming Qigong practice called 3Es: Energy, Everybody, Everyday.

Marie’s journey towards becoming an acupuncturist and studying Chinese medicine originally began while living in New York City during her mid-20s and working in financial services. She sought a remedy for her migraine headaches and began seeing Master Lu for acupuncture. He also prescribed Chinese Herbs and almost immediately she noticed a difference. Soon she became fascinated by all things Chinese Medicine. She looked forward to reading Master Lu's TCM newsletters in the waiting room and started to share her passion with friends and family by giving them insights into their health and feeling their pulses diagnostically. Soon after, life presented her with an opportunity to follow her true passion and switch careers. Instead of pursuing an MBA Marie took a leap of faith and the rest is history.

When she is not seeing patients or teaching classes, she is spending time in nature, cooking, playing with her dog Sake, brushing up on her Mandarin via Netflix, or driving her two kids to their extracurricular activities.
